The two perennial favorite bag styles are the hobo and the tote. Women who are self-confessed bag-a-holics would know the difference between a tote and a hobo handbag. The main difference between the two styles is found in the handle. A hobo bag has its handle on the sides, whereas the tote bag has its handle or handles found at the center of the bag’s opening.
Although the tote is believed to be the classier one and is the top pick among ladies, the hobo is fast gaining in popularity. This is brought about by the needs of today’s women. The hobo is more functional and can be worn with just about anything. It also accommodates the many things women have to bring along with them from car keys to purses to cosmetics.

This year’s fashion forecast is bent on minimalism. This is in tune with the world’s economic situation. For glitzy events, clutch handbags are practical and stylish accessories you cannot be seen without. A simple sheath dress can be complemented by one of those clutches for that simple but elegant look.
Remember, simplicity is the key. Like always, simplicity is more of a mainstay in fashion than a fad. Even makeup is low-key and the clean, no-makeup look will be the buzz. Night events, however, will require you to dress up your eyes a little bit. Neutral colors will make a comeback as bright colors go out of style.
A mobile phone is a must these days. Even when you are out of the office, you can still be reached in cases of urgency. It’s very useful too, especially in cases of emergency when you need to call someone right away.
A cell phone must be cared for in order to last a long time. It is important to avoid dropping the phone. The impact might be too strong for the phone’s sensitive parts. There are fashionable cell phone wallets that keep phones safe. These wallets serve as a cushion in case you accidentally drop your phone.

My friend is a bag-aholic. She has a whole collection of bags for every occasion. She has tote bags, hobo bags, and even evening handbags – you name it, and she definitely has it. I guess that you can call her a bag collector!
Her whole closet is filled with bags. She’s also into designer brands. I understand her addiction though because I feel the same way about shoes and my husband feels that way about baseball cards.
